Commiting to PRAY for my STUDENTS EVERYDAY!

On my other blog, I have posted about agreeing with Brooke at A Life in Need of Change to pray everyday for my own children.
I know that the challenge is given to pray as a parent, and I have always done that.
I also have a burden for each of my students. I have had so much that I have been wanting to write about on this blog, but just haven't quite been able to put it into words. I do pray often that I can be a better teacher and make a difference in the lives of my students. I do pray for my students and their families. I wish I could do more to help them with their home lives. Beginning tonight, I am commiting to pray for at least one of my students everyday.
After you leave me a comment, : )
go to http://sandys-scriptureandprayer.blogspot.com/2010/02/praying-for-my-children-and.html to my other blog, The Tablet of My Heart, to read about my prayers for my own children and granddaughter, and then from there to Brooke's blog. There you can read her prayer for her children, other posts, and you can link up and have a chance at winning in her give away.

  2. Dear Sandy,

At the beginning of the school year, I make up a prayer calendar for the week. Every child is listed on it along with my assistant and myself. We invite the children to pray for each other all through the year. Many of them have been very diligent about it. I will put you and your students on my prayer list as well.

    Blessings!
