To answer your question...Yes I have u...Hey Sandy,<br /><br />To answer your question...Yes I have used harcourt series when I taught 2nd grade. I had students with disabilities when I taught 2nd grade but never used it when I was actually in the special education role! Last year, when I was a SPED teacher, the students used more of a novel and balanced literacy approach. I strongly believe the best way to teach reading is in small groups on students instructional reading level. <br /><br />I hope that helps!!
